Crayons & Backpacks

Zach’s first week of school – he absolutely loves it! Casey John was “sad” each time we dropped off Zach but doesn’t seem to care that if he learned how to use the “big boy potty” he could go to school too. Zach got to play instruments, play outside, eat grapes – cheese – and crackers, and bring home his drawing of the rollercoaster his first week in school. He goes one more week just half a day and then after labor day will go from 8:30am until 3pm.

Casey John is hanging out with Casey and I at the shop, we went to the park, he went with me to exercise, and he goes with me on errands. Business is fast and busy one week and eerily quiet the next. My car has been at the shop for a week and no word on what is causing it to die…. After $1700 worth of work it had better run right! It’s been a great car but it’s been a bit sickly lately.

We have been so busy I haven’t gotten photos from our Fiesta Texas family vacation up yet, I hope to do so soon. September is a uber busy month for us. We are probably headed down to POC next weekend for fishing if Ernesto doesn’t become a hurricane headed this way, then I am doing an Adventure Race with a friend from High School, then the boys birthday, then a webmaster jam session in Dallas, then it’s the first weekend of Ren Faire. Wow it’s just packed.

Okay more later.
