No it’s not a political tirade. I literally lost Russia (well I think I did). At Zach’s school they ask for parent volunteers in different areas, I signed up to help with classroom & office stuff. Zach’s teacher called to ask if I would be willing to cut out some continents over the weekend and I said I’d be happy to help. She gave me a large wooden board with the continents on it to take out, trace, and cut out. Upon getting home Friday I noticed a very small piece was missing. My first thought was it had been gone for awhile but then noticed it was one of the samples she had given me. While in town Saturday morning I scoured the area between the school’s front steps and where I had parked when I picked Zach up Friday, no luck.

I finished cutting all the continents (50+ each) making a piece for the part I was missing which happens to be the tip of Asia (aka Russia) out of cardboard. If I did indeed lose Russia I will head to the Education Station in San Marcos to try to find a replacement. Casey says, “No good deed…..”. I will be posting more of Zach’s school art soon and hopefully more photo albums too. Staying busy…
