Heart Strings

This is all about Casey John and school. The first few weeks have been hard, he would cry so hard and beg me to take him home. He just did not want to go to school. Every morning it was like having someone pull a hair from your head that was connected directly to your nervous system. I felt so bad, and when we’d pick him up as soon as he saw us he’d cry until we picked him up and put him in the car. We just kept hanging in there hoping he’d adjust. Then it happened.

First, he wouldn’t cry when we picked him up. Then on Thursday, he didn’t cry when we drove up to the school, he got out of the car and said he could walk up to the porch by himself, gave me a kiss and a hug and off he went! It was so great, and his teacher said he had a great day at school. Friday the same thing happened! Hopefully we’ll continue into this week and he’ll continue to do good!

He continues to only go half day until next year, so he still spends half the day with his daddy and I at work. He keeps himself fairly busy with hotwheels and computer games, if I have errands to run he will go help me with them. I seem to be able to get a little more work done in the morning now that the are both in school!
