Standing outside waiting to pick up Zach from school with Casey John I wondered if girls are really different. Actually Casey John head-butting me in the stomach spawned that thought. He was being silly, running around, pick me up, put me down, all around spaz (or as he says “paz”). Then all of a sudden he runs up to me and head-butts me in the stomach! As I flinch, and pick him up upside down to tickle him, I had a vision of frilly girly things wondering if girls were any sweeter. My boys are sweet and loving (at times), but they are also rough and tough! Oh well, I’ve heard little girl horror stories too, so maybe it’s not so bad having boys!

On the other hand, the boys don’t get why we can’t all “share the potty”. Let me elaborate. If they both have to go potty at the same time they often stand together at the potty and “share”. Casey John insists that I could stand there and share too. The explanation of why mommy can’t share isn’t cutting the butter for him. He’ll figure it out soon enough! 😀
