Melting like butter

Over this last week Casey John has been melting my heart with his sweet words. The other day as I walked past him, he called out “mom”, and I replied he said, “I love you.” That’s all, just a sweet I love you mom. Now thats’ sweet period, but especially since it’s coming from him. I get hugs and kisses now every morning before he walks up the stairs to school. Just yesterday he was sitting next to his brother sharing cookies and he told me that he loved his brother. “Mom, Zachy’s my brother, I love my brother!” Zach had a silly grin on his face in the “yep, I’m a big brother and I take care of him” sorta way. Ah, it’s nice to know they like each other sometimes. Most of the time I have to tell them not to touch each other so it won’t escalate into a fight!! Here’s to brotherly love. 🙂
