Leave Leafs and SPRINKLES!

I love our big, shady oak trees in our yard. Except for spring time when the leaves are so thick you wouldn’t know there was some grass in our yard. We spent pretty much the whole weekend raking and picking up leaves! The boys went to a small birthday party yesterday and then Uncle John, Aunt Sam, and Riley Roo came up and stayed with us. I have not finished the vacation blog yet but will work on it after this. We have a summer of house fixing ahead of us provided we can fund the projects and find time for them. We have decided not to send the boys to any summer school type program, maybe a week long camp or something. That will allow us to save a fair chunk of change! We’ll probably spend a good amount of time at the city pool.

Yesterday morning we went into San Marcos to do a little bit of work before the birthday party and Casey told Zachary if he could be quite all the way to town he could pick ANY donut at the donut shop. A few moments of silence passes and out of the blue Zach shouts “SPRINKLES!” We tried very hard to stiffle the laugh, he had apparently choosen in his head that he wanted a sprinkle donut and the filter not to talk was turned off and shouted out. It was quite funny! He ended up getting that donut anyway, a special treat. Well, hope you enjoyed the very sporatic post tonight.
