The Easter Bunny Froze

We took off Friday to head down to the coast and meet the rest of the family. The weather was pleasant when we arrived and we headed over to the 10th Street Lodge owned by Grandpa’s good college buddy Jim Reed ( he also sold my dad his truck, a car, etc but that’s not important 🙂 ). Uncle John and Uncle Tommy had pitched in to make a very good shrimp, craw fish, crab, etc boil for dinner that night. The boys occupied themselves upstairs with the gamecube (we took it because we knew the weather was not supposed to be good) and the adults minus grandma chatted downstairs, ate, played some dominoes, etc.

At about midnight, the front blew in and boy did it blow…. The next morning was super cold and the rain quickly followed. It was way to cold for April if you ask me.  After bumming around for a bit we decided to take the boys into a nearby town to see “Meet the Robinsons” and it was cute, passed a few hours in the day. Dad and I stood outside later that evening and froze while making some hamburgers for everyone. A good game of family Texas Hold’Em followed that night. Lots of TV, video games, and inside playtime this weekend.

Thanks to Jim and Jessamy for putting up with our family running their lodge this past weekend! No pictures, sorry, there wasn’t much to do. That’s about all for now!
