Catching Pepperonis, Corpses, and WM

I have a few silly stories to tell. First last night at dinner Zach asked Casey where Pepperoni’s come from. So this explanation ensued: First you have to catch a pepper, then you roll it down a hill, and at the end of the hill you hit it with your knee and you get a Pepp-ro-knee! This flashed me back to reading the Calvin and Hobbes comic strips where Calvin’s dad told him he had pupated from a larvae!

Today after I picked up Zachary from school he told me that a girl in his school had given him a “corpse”, a what? Yeah, mom a corpse, it’s in my lunch box – look. They come in all sizes mom, big, little…. So in his lunch box is a Quartz stone. Oh, a quartz, yeah mom a corpse…. Hehehe…..

After dinner, on the way home Zach is signing WM to me in the rear view mirror (yes, they are learning sign language in school) and I asked what’s WM for? Mom’s it’s WIM the name of that trash can I saw back there. Oh, I laughed so hard I had tears. He actually meant WM for Waste Management that’s on the side of the trash cans in our area!

Casey John is doing great at school, he says many silly things to. Mostly because he talks so fast we struggle to quickly decipher what he says!
