NO, it’s not done.

Okay, this roof project, so not done. It’s taking/going to take much longer than anticipated. We got maybe 1/4 of the back of the house shingled today, all the boards replaced, still 1/4 of the house without paper, we have it all covered up with giant tarps held down by very heavy packs of shingles. All 96 are up on the roof, thanks to Casey’s innovation of a pulley system involving two ladders, a rope, a sled, Uncle Ken, and the jeep. Tomorrow is the only day this week with rain forecast, and it’s thunderstorms etc that is supposed to be coming in. We are holding our breath that the tarps hold up for that so we can finish up. After the roof is done clean up may take a few weeks! That’s all for now, my hand hurt, my back is sore and we have to get up early to do a few things before we take the boys to school!!!
