Splash Down

It’s funny how a tiny green pool with a built in mini slide can entertain so much. I am pretty sure it’s not officially summer but at the Moreland house it is. The boys plastic pool has been brought from it’s winter slumber and scrubbed shiny clean, filled with water, add two boys, and it’s a rippin’ good time! I’ve cleaned off the “patio” furniture which sits in the yard, put the umbrella up in the table and grabbed a chair and my notebook. We are all just having a blast this afternoon.

The pool maybe too small come next year but it still plenty of room so far this year. We have set up a schedule of Wednesdays and Fridays to keep the boys at home. The rest of the week they are with us at the shop but we took great effort to organize their area. We have setup times for computer play (edutainment), movies, arts & crafts (Zach’s favorite) and just play with any toy time. That way we manage to get some work done during the day at the shop.

Thank goodness for the shade our huge oak trees provide, it makes it bearable out in the middle of the day to sit outside and for the boys to swim and not be at risk of sunburn. In other news, rumor has it we may actually have a babysitter for tonight ( possible go see the last Pirates movie ), maybe someone like good ol’ Uncle Jeffy? Lastly, I have the photography bug again fairly bad so be on the lookout soon for a new page full of photography…
