Z Man

Z ManSummer is keeping us busy! Yesterday we went for the first time this summer to the city pool in San Marcos. They have a great water play area with water cannons, jets and sprays, a slide etc for the boys to go crazy in! Today we stayed home and Kay’s grand daughter came over to play with the boys, they all got into the small plastic pool here at the house today. We then went with them to the “cow” (Sirloin Stockade – it’s a small town and that’s the biggest restaurant here in town) to celebrate her 9th birthday.

I’ll add a summer fun photo album to put all of the swimming and other water activities into. In the mail today I got the paper work for Casey John’s appointment with the new doctor and it’s 11 pages long! Not to include the paperwork I have to have faxed to them from both the orthopedic and his regular pediatrician, including his immunization records! Speaking of the pediatrician I took both boys in on Monday because they both had some sort of bite with swelling on their belly buttons (Casey John’s was terrible!) and we noted that since February Zach has gained 7 whole pounds, he now weighs 57 lbs! I knew there was a reason besides his height he was getting hard for me to carry. Casey Johns is 20 lbs lighter than Zach and when he wants to be carried he just wraps his little monkey legs around me and off we go.

The stick man is one of Zach’s many drawings, he so loves arts and crafts time!
