I spent this past weekend in San Antonio while Casey and the boys had a “guys weekend” at home. Early Saturday I participated in the Silver Stars 5k run sponsored by the Army, (I got a free ticket to the game that night and the option to purchase more tickets at a discount) and even though it was like running in a sauna it was fun! This is my second 5K in the last few months and my total time was 38:12.4 minutes which puts my mile pace at 12:41 minutes. I’d like to get that down to 10 minute miles by the end of the year. My Aunt and I had a great time at the game later that night and the Silver Stars managed to beat the Houston Comets 63-60. We had such good seats we got tickets for the first round playoff game next week!
