We stayed quite busy this weekend, coming into San Marcos Saturday to work at the shop for a few hours followed by a spontaneous trip to Wonder World Park here in town were Casey John conquered his fear of going into a cave. Not that he had anything to base that fear on, however he was excited and had a blast once inside the cave. He did however require his daddy to carry him up some of the steeper steps inside the cave resulting in sore knees for big Casey.
It’s funny how that placed seemed much bigger when I was smaller. The aquifer was so full that one of the bottom passages was full of clear blue water. The elevator ride to the observation tower was fun, Zach however did not want to go to the very top exclaiming how he was “very afraid of this height”. Onto the anti-gravity house where we had a few chuckles trying to stay up-right and watching the water flow-up (really down a steep hill but you couldn’t tell). And for the finale and the boys favorite part and train ride (big tractor with attached cars) into the wildlife park where they can feed the deer.
We also spent time this weekend trying to fix our AC apparently the duct work or something came loose, one half of the house is nice and cool the other not so much. This week is full of busy – Casey J’s eye doctor appointment this afternoon, tomorrow morning is his second round of blood work, Thursday I’m going to the WNBA first round playoffs in San Antonio and taking the boys to Fiesta or the Zoo on Friday… I’ll post the update as soon as we get blood work results!
Enjoy the picture (I’ll post some from Wonder World soon to the photo albums, until then just check out my Flickr account)! He’s darn cute isn’t he!
