Three Turkeys in a Tub

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving! The boys and I left Wednesday morning with Grandpa after he brought a trailer load of furniture back to us. Casey worked all day Wednesday and joined us in Victoria Thursday morning. The boys played outside on Wednesday while I somehow got myself into “helping” put up Christmas lights, finishing the lights on the roof just as the lightning storm accompanying the front was moving in. Thanks so much for your help John…. Just kidding. That night grandma decided to give everyone a bath – more like a disco gone wrong involving rubber duckies and a fish that looked like Nemo. I couldn’t really tell as is spent 90% of the time in Riley Roo’s mouth.

Turkey Day – I had a hand in helping with most of the side dishes (any ones that stuck to the spoon or were a wee bit cold) I was responsible for! The meal was great and my mom now has enough grandkids to have the “kid table” now, and next year there will be another little boy added to the mix (Tommy and Morgan are having a little boy). Thursday night we were able to go to the theater to see “Dan In Real Life” with Steve Carell and it was quite enjoyable. It however re-affirmed my point of view on not wanting girls. I’ve got enough drama with the Z-man. It was a great Turkey day in all, I’ll have more on the the last part of our long weekend tomorrow….
