I’ve been meaning

I have about 10 things I could blog about daily, most times I forget by the time I get to my computer or am so tired of working on the computer by the end of the day I lay on the couch looking at the glow of the screen and then just close the lid, because really I’ve had enough of computers for the day. So I am just going to spill as much as I can recall from about the last two weeks here, all bulleted for your easy reading of course.

  • The boys had their Winter Open House last Friday, it’s a time where they show us some of the work they do at school and we have snacks and refreshments. Casey John worked on his geometric shapes, Zach did the parts of the leaf and they showed us the school bird “Tweeter” and the pudgy guinea pig”Sugar”. The best part was while we were waiting on the porch to go in a little girl named Liberty was coming up to the porch and Casey John said “Oh that’s Liberty, she’s my girlfriend.”
  • On Saturday we went to one of their classmates party at a gymnastics place in San Marcos and when we walked in Casey John spotted Liberty again and reminded that she liked him. She’s a cutie!
  • The boys really enjoy the fireplace and being able to make a fire when it’s chilly outside.
  • They have a knack of secretly re-arranging the ornaments on the tree and it seems like we have a Star Wars base on the lower half of the tree, everything from Darth Vader to an M&M Clone Trooper.
  • This year they are both very excited about Christmas, we have a countdown calendar and they are keen to open the box each morning. They also each picked out a gift for the other to open on Christmas Eve (keeping it a secret has been much harder for Casey John than Zach) but we’ll see how they react.
  • I didn’t take either one of them shopping with me when I went shopping for Casey because last year Zach blabbed to his daddy about the coffee pot!
  • I’ve really got to get myself a digital recorder so I can make a better record of this stuff and be able to blog it easier!

Well, I’ve racked my brain and managed to forget most of what I planned to write but I’ll leave you with a picture of the ever growing, plastic chewing puppy.
