Brrrr… and Blah

Now that Christmas is gone it finally gets cold enough to feel like Christmas. Then again if we lived in Australia we wouldn’t connect Christmas with cold and snow. I am so glad to have a fireplace, I didn’t realize how much I was missing growing up without one in our house. Mom and Dad – knock a hole in the wall somewhere and get yourself a fireplace, just don’t let Tommy play with it (I’m recalling how he had a knack for lighting fireworks in his hands). Oh wait, holy cow, does Tommy have one in his house? Onward, I FINALLY got all the Christmas decorations down in the house and packed away, the outside lights are another story however. We won’t leave them up all year, we’ll get them down before spring break. Maybe.

The Z-Man however seems to be sick again. The second time in three days, this time however the tummy releasing food actions are back. He was fine most of the morning, ate a normal breaky but at lunch (while standing in line for bbq) he obviously wasn’t feeling well so we got it to go and as we were walking up the walkway to the house he let it fly. Got him to the couch, settled down, some grape juice (baaaad idea) and a bit later he didn’t hold the two sips of juice down either. At about 4pm he had 6 crackers, got up and went outside for a bit, came back in and we chilled on the couch for awhile watching tv. He asked for an apple for dinner and ate it slowly. However when I let him go lay in our bed he discovered he wasn’t feeling well again and I got a towel to him in time. So he isn’t able to hold anything down today. He’s the big strong guy, not supposed to get sick, whatever it is Casey J doesn’t seem to be catching it (quick find some wood to knock on) and for that I am thankful.

Zach keeps apologizing for being sick… poor guy. Hope you are all staying warm, I know technically 35 degrees is like a warm summer day to people up north but dang, it’s cold here in Texas!!
