That list of things – 2007

I found this random list of questions about my year 2007 so I thought it would make a good blog entry, although I did delete a few questions I found silly or totally dumb. Yep that’s me, I have total control over this blog, at least I have that much.

1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
Took a week long spring break vacation with the whole family

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Not sure I really made any, I may set some goals to reach this year and I’ll work hard towards them

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope, Sister In Law is due soon though and some good friends are finally foster parents!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No one in the immediate family

5. What countries did you visit?
Only my own, but I’d like to go here, here, here, just to start

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
More time for hobbies and travel.

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Etched is pretty permanent. I tend to remember small things vividly, like things the boys say. Like the first time I heard Z-man say “Hello Nusre” to a pretty girl. Probably their birthdays, Christmas, and Casey John’s second MRI (actually his whole hip thing/hospital visit).

Getting a second vehicle (yeah it’s a big deal with two boys and a dog)

Prioritizing at work.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

My new digital SLR Nikon D40 and the mini-van

Casey John’s huge improvements at school (no more begging not to go)

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My camera (sad, I know), both boys being in school.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
I tend to have quite and ecclectic taste in music so I don’t really have one song but some current favorites are “Better Not Look Down” by BB King

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder?
I would say happier – I certainly don’t have anything to be sad about

17b) thinner or fatter?
yeah can I plead the 5th here? really they asked this question?

17c) richer or poorer?

32. What kept you sane?
My boys, they keep my in the middle of the see saw – half crazy – half normal.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
