So our dog is apparently in heat. Why didn’t anyone tell me that it was, well, gross and lasts forever? Now any stray male dog for 100 miles has honed in on her scent and one stray dog in particular is quite persistent, although he hasn’t been back since a pellet found his rear-end about an hour ago. 🙂 Before you go judging, we live in the country and people dump their unwanted animals on our road all the time. Some grow up and become a menace, tearing into trash among other things and it’s really a pain to deal with them. The intent is to get the stupid dog to stay away and not really hurt him. He was on the porch twice last night in the middle of the night. Ah, life in the country. Remind me sometime to tell the story about the bull who chased my 6 month pregnant butt down the driveway….
