Sunday after we got home from church and lunch we let the boys convince us to put up the giant inflatable water slide in the yard. Thanks good ol’ Uncle Tommy. The giggles and pure happiness was worth the 25 minutes of setup, the 40 minutes of playing, and the 30 minutes to take it down (2 hours to dry out) and put it away. We have to put it away or the destroyer of all things plastic, metal, wood, etc will eat it. The latest casualty to that war was an entire water hose, handle and all.
With summer approaching the boys are having their sand and water days at school, lots of walking field trips, and getting ready for swimming lessons. I’ve been searching for some summer camps – mostly Zach is the only one old enough. Soccer camp, gymnastics, karate etc. Anything to keep them busy and allow me to get some work done. I haven’t sorted through all the photos from this weekend but here is one of my favorites, the expression is priceless!
