Today was day one of my photo shooting in the ship yards. Let me tell you the best part up front and get that out of the way – it’s the super sexy blue hard hat I get to wear at all times in the ship yard. I guess they thought that maybe if say a crane were to fall on me the hard hat would keep the most important parts protected. 🙂 I kid, it’s safety guidelines, I get it. It’s still hot here in South Carolina just not as humid, I thought I had a bug running down my back – turns out it was just a river of sweat. Yeah, I know, gross. I spent most of my day shooting these type of shots and close ups. It’s quite interesting stuff – more or less.
No artsiness (hah, I made up a new word) in any of these shots I’m taking just strictly scientific stuff, except for the few shots I grabbed which I’m loading to flickr now. I did get out to Folly Beach just for a bit yesterday and around to see the Morris Island Light House and hope to get back to the beach to get some shells for the boys. I have this thing for light houses so it was cool to finally get to take a picture of one and not just admire them on a calendar.
I am also in need of some sunglasses, my cheapies broke and I tossed them, I need to find some more so I can stop squinting at everyone. Someone might think I’m coming onto them and winking at them. I took a few shots at the shipyard and did some Photoshop work with them –
You can see more photos on my flickr account (hint – look in the left hand column, yep right over there). Hope to get to do some more sight seeing this week. Love to my boys.
PS – sorry if you got this more than once, it’s 11pm here and my spelling was terrible and my spell checker really let me down. 🙂
