Rumble for 40

The Animal (Z Man’s new football nickname) played an awesome game of flag football last Saturday. His first run of the game was for about forty yards and he almost made it into the end zone! I got so darned excited I forgot to keep taking pictures, so I got the start of the run but not the pass-by or ending!

40 Yard Rumble

He just kept right on moving – no looking back! Finally a well-coordinated red-headed boy caught up with him and wrestled his flags loose. He has come such a long way since their first practice and last weekend his coaches gave him the nickname of “The Animal” on defense because he gets really focused on going after that ball. Most importantly he seems to be having a lot of fun! To see what his brother does during his football games go here and check out my new site.

“To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.”
~ St. Thomas Aquinas
